Ladybower Plughole - This is in fact one of two plugholes at the bottom of a series of reservoirs. They lead into the abyss.
Torside Reservoir built between April 1849 and July 1864 and constructed by John Frederick Bateman. I wonder if he realised its potential beauty back then
